If you’re tired and just need to relax, today’s 15 minute sequence of Yin against the Wall is perfect for you for three reasons! 💥🥳
(1) If you’ve been walking, standing or sitting all day and your feet or legs are swollen, putting your legs up the wall relieves tired legs
(2) Keeping your back flat on the mat stretches the lower back and relieves lower back tension
(3) If you find any movement where you bend forward from a seated position challenging, you’ll love Yin against the Wall as you’ll notice that you can get a deeper stretch in your legs!
Do these poses lying on the floor with your legs against the wall in the office during your coffee or lunch break or just before you go to bed - it helps to calm you down and sleep better! 😊

In this sequence, we explore one pose to relax the legs, stretching the hamstrings and two to open the hips and stretch the groin muscles. We’ll be holding each pose for 4 minutes with a break of one minute. If you find this too long, start with a minute and build up slowly. Remember to listen to your body. Respect it’s limits and learn more about your body and yourself.
