Also known as Beach Road Level Crossing.
Located near Newhaven Harbour station and in the area of Newhaven Port and Boat Yard. This crossing is within the port boundary, on a private road, so this crossing was filmed from behind a fence, on a road outside the port area. Its quite a unique crossing with four barriers that do not have any skirts. The warning lights have longer-shades and the alarms are quiet. In the distance, a vehicle-passenger ferry was arriving at Newhaven after travelling from Dieppe in France, across the Channel, which is why announcements can be heard throughout the video.

The video at the start shows some new level crossing barrier arms along with other rail equipment in an 'Atkins' rail yard. It looks like just some spare equipment which was being stored.
