This episode of our Bhog Series takes us to the vibrant Pink City of Jaipur, Rajasthan, which holds a deep, spiritual connection to Lord Krishna. After exploring the temple cuisines of Melukote and Vrindavan, I move forward to explore the three sacred temples, Govind Dev Ji, Gopinath Ji, and Radha Damodar Ji, whose deities were originally brought from Vrindavan during the Mughal invasions.

I explored the incredible story of how the King of Jaipur installed these deities, and how the overwhelming love of the Jaipur people convinced them to make this city their permanent home.

But while the temples' histories are unique, we noticed one common thread: their divine breakfast offering, or Bhog, is a simple, sweet Meethi Kheer. Learn the traditional, easy recipe for this Jaggery and vermicelli Kheer that is offered to Thakur ji every morning!
