Mike Sheridan was lead singer and frontman in an early Birmingham beat band, the Nightriders, which also included Roy Wood later of The Move and Wizzard. Jeff Lynne was also a member at one point. After Roy Wood left, the remaining members formed The Idle Race. Mike left and in 1968 formed Sight & Sound with Rick Price. This arrangement was short-lived as Rick left to join The Move. But in 1970 Sheridan and Price rejoined forces and cut an album, 'This Is To Cerify' which the track here 'Tracy Smith' appeared on.
