Pressure is mounting on President Biden and Congress to hold police officers accountable for misconduct. This comes as newly released bodycam footage of the fatal police shooting of 13-year-old Adam Toledo in Chicago on March 29 raises significant questions about the official version of events. Yet another controversial encounter occurred in Virginia in December, when Army 2nd Lieutenant Caron Nazario was held at gunpoint and pepper-sprayed by two police officers during a traffic stop. Nazario is suing for one million dollars in damages. His lawyer speaks with Michel Martin about the incident in question.

Originally aired on April 16, 2021.
