When is it ok to Safeword in a Dom/sub Dynamic?

Описание к видео When is it ok to Safeword in a Dom/sub Dynamic?

The “I can safeword whenever I want” discourse between old school & new school q1nksters never seems to end.

Could it be that we’re more alike than we think?

Maybe we're simply getting hung up on subjective definitions & semantics? Perhaps we need to rethink how much our personal approach to safewords in a Dom/sub dynamic represents the universal experience?

This debate comes up a lot — especially pertaining to 24/7 D/s which has extra layers of nuance & gray area.

What are your thoughts on safewords?
❓Do you use one safeword for everything?
❓Different ones for different things?
❓Plain language as opposed to a “traditional" or code-style safeword for some things?
❓Or plain language for everything?

(Which ... if you do use plain language, it’s serving the same purpose as a safeword — it’s an agreed-upon verbal tool that stops the action & gives you the time & space to advocate for your consent. So in that sense, your plain language is your safeword — it’s just not a stereotypical code-word style safeword that means stop, pause, check-in, etc.)

And BTW, if you’re looking for more D/s info & kink education, check out the virtual D/s Educational summit that’s coming up next week too 🤗

It’s 20 virtual classes over 4 days from well-known BDSM educators & it's all online.
