Antique Rusty 'Dynamo Pulley Gear' Restoration | A Centipede Inside 😨

In this video, we are restoring an antique, rusty dynamo pulley gear. Let us share a bit of history about the dynamo generator. The first commutated dynamo was built in 1832 by Hippolyte Pixii, a French instrument maker. It used a permanent magnet rotated by a crank, with the magnet's north and south poles passing by a piece of iron wrapped with insulated wire.

We began the restoration by disassembling the pulley gear. During the process, a lot of cotton-like material came out, and we experienced a shocking moment when a small and scary centipede suddenly emerged from the cotton. We were all startled, but we managed the situation calmly.

Afterward, we cleaned all the parts using a wire brush, hand sanding, polishing, and other methods. Once the cleaning was done, we reassembled the pulley gear, and you can see the impressive final result.
