India saw visionary leadership during 3 out of the 4 big economic crises in the last 3 decades, with the handling of the 2008-09 financial crisis being an exception, Dr K V Subramanian, Chief economic adviser in the finance ministry said.
In an interview to ThePrint's Remya Nair, Subramanian talks about the reform push undertaken by the Narendra Modi government, its economic dividends and why the government is not inclined to reduce taxes on petrol and diesel despite the surge in inflation.
