Using The Pull Thread Method To Cut & Hem Voiles & Sheers Perfectly

Описание к видео Using The Pull Thread Method To Cut & Hem Voiles & Sheers Perfectly

It's already a well known technique in professional curtain and drapery workrooms to pull a single thread in voiles, sheers and net curtain fabrics to get a perfectly straight line to cut to. Most woven plain voiles can be accurately cut this way but did you know you can also mark your hem fold lines using the same method?

In this quick tip I show you how to accurately pull a thread to cut along, repeat the process to create the folds for a perfect hem and then I also show you how I machine sew the hems to get a super smooth stitch line.
