Seafood Spaghetti Recipe

Ingredients:

200g spaghetti

4 tbsp olive oil

350g mixed seafood (e.g., shrimp, squid, mussels)

½ tsp paprika

½ tsp salt

1 tsp mixed herbs

4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced

1 red chili, finely chopped

10 cherry tomatoes, halved

2 tbsp butter

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Juice of half a lemon

½ cup of pasta cooking water

Instructions:

Cook the Spaghetti:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente.

Reserve ½ cup of the pasta cooking water, then drain the spaghetti.

Prepare the Seafood Mix:

In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the mixed seafood, paprika, salt, and mixed herbs. Give it a stir to combine.

Add the sliced garlic and chopped red chili to the pan.

Cook the Aromatics:

Cook the mixture for 2-3 minutes until the garlic is fragrant and the chili is softened.

Incorporate Cherry Tomatoes and Butter:

Add the halved cherry tomatoes and butter to the pan.

Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the tomatoes to soften and the butter to melt into the sauce.

Finish the Dish:

Add fresh parsley and squeeze in the juice of half a lemon. Mix well.

Add the cooked spaghetti and reserved pasta water to the pan. Toss everything together until well mixed.

Serve:

Garnish with additional fresh parsley if desired.

Serve immediately while hot.

Pasta Cooking Water: The starchy pasta water helps to bind the sauce to the spaghetti, giving it a creamy texture.

Seafood Selection: Use fresh or high-quality frozen seafood for the best flavor. Ensure it's well-drained to avoid adding extra water to the dish.

Spice Level: Adjust the amount of chili to your taste. For a milder dish, remove the seeds from the chili.
