Do BMW key fobs go to sleep? | Preventing keyless theft | BMW 530e MY 2020 Tested

Keyless entry / BMW comfort access cars are vulnerable to car theft with a relay attack unless the key fob goes to sleep.

In this video, I tested that a BMW 530e manufactured in 07/2019 has the newer car key fobs which go to sleep, and therefore they are not vulnerable to the relay attack after the keys have stayed motionless for long enough.
