Tesla Reveals New "Transparent Metal Glass" For Cybertruck


A prospective battery-electric light-duty truck called the Tesla Cybertruck was unveiled by Tesla, Inc. in 2019. With EPA range estimates of 400–800 kilometers and a predicted 0-100 km/h time of 2.9–6.5 seconds, respectively, three variants have been released.

Tesla's stated intention in creating the Cybertruck is to offer a sustainable energy alternative to the roughly 6,500 fossil fuel-powered trucks that are sold each day in the US.

Rear-wheel drive (RWD) models of the car will start at a base price of US$39,900, while all-wheel drive (AWD) vehicles will cost US$49,900. The release dates for the RWD Cybertruck and the dual-motor AWD and tri-motor AWD Cybertruck were originally set for late 2021 and late 2022, respectively. However, production dates have been repeatedly postponed, and the current estimate for the start of production is in mid-2023.1

Self-leveling suspension is used in the proposed truck to account for varying loads, and certain variants come standard with all-wheel drive. On-board power inverters for supplying both 120 and 240-volt electricity are listed as additional standard features by the manufacturer, enabling the use of power tools without the need for a portable generator. Pneumatic tools can be powered by an air compressor. According to reports, the exterior stainless steel sheet metal is bulletproof.

Additionally, all vehicles are expected to come equipped with Tesla Autopilot and have the hardware necessary for fully autonomous operation. As of 2019, Musk stated that a solar roof option would be available, extending the daily range by 15 miles.
