For the first appearance of one of Godzilla's most feared and formiddable foes, composer Masaru Sato did something completely unique; he gave the mechanized menace jazzy, funky music to accompany it's many ventures. The whole soundtrack is rife with that 70's vibe, and the funkiness continues on to an original song for the movie that is based around the melodies used for Mechagodzilla titled 'Attack Mechagodzilla'. Truly one of the most memorable, electrifying, and funky themes a gigantic mechanical monster could ask for.
