From the moon to the Sun, Aditya-L1: India’s Amazing Mission to Touch the Sun

Описание к видео From the moon to the Sun, Aditya-L1: India’s Amazing Mission to Touch the Sun

In this episode, I will tell you about Aditya-L1, India’s first mission to study the sun. Aditya-L1 is a spacecraft that will observe the sun’s outermost layers, where most of the solar activity and space weather originate. These are the regions that affect our satellites, power grids, and communication systems, but they are also very hard to see from Earth. Aditya-L1 will use seven instruments to measure different aspects of the sun’s activity, such as temperature, magnetic field, solar wind, and plasma. Aditya-L1 will also orbit around a special point in space called L1, where it can have a continuous view of the sun without any interference from Earth or the moon. Aditya-L1 will collaborate with other missions and observatories to advance our knowledge of solar physics and space weather. This mission will not only provide valuable data and insights for scientists, but also benefit society and humanity in many ways. From the moon to the sun, India is making history in the final frontier.
