This video will cover how to make homemade cornmeal mix using your own home grown corn. My Daddy gave me this recipe several years ago. We will also be making cornbread muffins using this homemade mix.

Homemade Cornmeal Mix Recipe:

1 3/4 cup sifted ground corn
1/4 cup self-rising flour
1 tsp sugar
3 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1 1/2 tsp Salt

1 egg
2-3 Tbsp oil in mixture
Buttermilk til right blend (~ 1 cup)

Preheat pan (with bacon grease) & oven to 450 degrees.
Add mixture.
Cook til Done (~ 15 minutes for muffin pan)
