Disappointed temporarlly! Spectacular customer service in the end!
Was hoping for good things with this. Purchased to replace a 5 year old Cuisinart. This toaster takes a long time to toast to your liking. The accuracy of the toasting is WAY off from their included example sheet. Also lacks extra lift lever to easily remove smaller toasted items. Larger slices of bread don't fit all the way down into it, so have to flip them over 1/2 way through toasting. On the positive side, it looks nice on the counter.

Redmond has been absolutely spectacular in their customer service. They have followed up twice with me and reported that I may have received a defective unit. They offered a replacement of a different toaster or FULL refund of my original purchase since I was dissatisfied with my purchase. This speaks volumes as to their concern about their products and keeping a loyal customer base. I have since replaced the toaster with another, so I didn't need the offered replacement and they quickly arranged for a full refund (excluding sales taxes paid) which is more than fair. Kudos to a company that knows how to treat customers with importance. I will absolutely consider REDMOND products for a future purchase knowing they FULLY stand behind their products. Well done Redmond and Amelia... very, VERY well done. I happily update my 2 star rating to 5 stars for an extraordinary company.
