This is the cut of the film Granny Baker that was screened at the Big Bear International Film Festival. It was originally created in 2 days for the 48 Hour Film Project Inland Empire 2011 and then slightly adjusted (to black and white, cropped, etc) for BBIFF.

It was developed as a Film de Femme Dark Comedy.

The initial movie was created, start to finish, in 48 Hours.

These things were required to be in the film:

1. A character named either Seth, or Sara, Washington whose occupation was a driver of some sort.
2. An apple.
3. Someone had to say the exact words "When do you expect her?"

Additionally, each filmmaker had to randomly pick what genre their film would be. We received the following genre:

This is a genre created by the 48 Film Project to increase the opportunities for women in film. "This genre is specifically designed by the 48HFP to encourage strong roles for females in 48HFP films. A Film de Femme is a film featuring one or more strong female characters."
