There was a time I really disliked making contact sheets. This was when I was a student in college. I remember thinking they were a waste of time and materials. I desperately wanted to go straight to making a silver gelatin print.

Now I appreciate and enjoy making them.

It was a joy to look back at the rolls of film I shot in my recent travels. Which I look forward to later sharing with you. And I must say, I forgot how effortless and fast it was to work with RC paper instead of FB. I wouldn't trade my FB paper for anything but as my darkroom is still really warm (85F) I didn't mind leaving a couple of hours early.
