Epic Bass fishing at Aldbrough, Holderness: April 2022

Mid April for those of us who live in the north east of England in the Tyneside area can be a very challenging month fishing wise, with the winter species disappearing and the summer species yet to arrive. Always keen for an adventure, we took to the tarmac yet again and made the three hour journey down to one of our favourite places, the Holderness.

The flat seas that preceded our trip were disrupted by a stiff south easterly which meant our ray hopes were dashed. However, one door closes and another opens in the form of some lovely bass conditions, and the bass were certainly obliging!
