Another one of my pseudo-famous one-take jams, I laid down a jazz solo to a Ralph Patt backing track entitled "Blue Bossa" in anticipation of the near-arrival of the summer solstice. I'm using a Fender MIM Stratocaster with the stock neck pickup and recording through the ever-impressive Line 6 POD HD300.

Went to Churchill Downs on my birthday this year and promptly lost every dime I came in with. However. I am going to see Roger Waters perform "The Wall" live this Sunday in Louisville, where I will drown my sorrows in the woeful sounds of classic, unbelievably awesome Pink Floyd tunes. Might also get a hefty contact buzz, since I'll be sitting up in the Yum! Center nosebleeds. Here's to hoping smoke rises :-)

Summertime is officially upon us, and believe me, I'm ready for it.
