Our recent visit to Hakone Owakudani was an experience like no other. Located in the Hakone mountains, surrounded by majestic views of the Japanese countryside, this area is known for its active sulphuric hot springs and volcanic activity. Taking the ropeway journey to the peak was a great way to take in the stunning views along the way.

At the top of the Hakone Owakudani ropeway, we were surrounded by bubbling hot springs, volcanic vents, and an abundance of natural beauty. The smell of sulfur filled the air, and the vibrant colors of the surrounding terrain were breathtaking. We also had the chance to observe the animals and birds that inhabit the area, including macaques, eagles, and other native species.

The views from the top of the ropeway were breathtaking and we enjoyed taking in the incredible scenery of the area. We also had the chance to sample some of the famous local delicacy, black hard-boiled eggs, which are said to extend a person’s life by seven years. All in all, our journey to Hakone Owakudani was an experience that we will never forget.
