Microports

At many facilities, sampling through via a valve is not the preferred solution for some reason. In such cases we offer a microport which is often referred to as a septum sampling port as well. You pierce through it directly into the process and retract your sample. In some cases, you will find a Keofitt Microport right next to a Keofitt sampling valve where the valve is used for one type of sample and the mircroport for another type.

Cross-contamination is a potential risk when sampling with a septum sampling port. You easily risk piercing through the same area. With the Keofitt Microport you have the option of installing a tool allowing you to have seven pre-defined spots to pierce and sample from. This way you limit the potential risk. The tool is not standard.
