Honda Elevate vs Volkswagen Taigun: Fuel Efficiency

Описание к видео Honda Elevate vs Volkswagen Taigun: Fuel Efficiency

The VW Taigun is more fun to drive than the Honda Elevate, but the Honda has a special factor. Three things to keep in mind:

First, the special factor of the Elevate is the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine which is available with a six-speed manual transmission. The sound of its revs rising and just shifting through the gears makes it so satisfying and addictive.

Second, the performance of the Elevate’s petrol engine with its CVT is good enough in our experience to match the 1-litre turbo of the Taigun with its six-speed automatic, if not a bit faster. Which means it’s the better performer, but the Taigun is more satisfying. Its engine just feels more natural and predictable and feels quieter too.

Third, the Taigun’s suspension is more committed. It makes it feel more enjoyable through corners and the steering also gives it a feel of agility. The Elevate’s steering is chunkier, and its brakes are stronger. But it doesn’t feel as committed.
