The purpose of Footprints and Legacy is to bring awareness to the social epidemic of Domestic Violence and the impact it has on the lives of the victim and their family, the community and society as a whole. The website will create a social media presence, where victims can obtain information and resources; as well as post their personal stories of the pain of DV, as a survivor or in many cases, the loved ones can post stories of the victims who did not survive their abuser. As each story is posted there will be an option to make a donation, or crowd fund, to help the victim exit a toxic relationship and rebuild; or to make a donation in the name of the lost loved one to help support the children who may have been left behind, and/or build a scholarship in the name of that specific victim to help other women and families.
