PM Modi Lights The first Diya For Dev Diwali Celebrations In Varanasi

PM Narendra Modi lights the first diya at the temple on the occasion of Dev Deepavali Utsav. The prime minister lighted an earthen lamp at Raj Ghat in Varanasi to mark the beginning of the celebrations that is held on every 'poornima' of the Hindu month of Kartik. Eleven lakh earthen lamps will be lighted on both the banks of the Ganga.
