These were maps made for Counter Strike's Beta versions, but never got full officially remade for any of the later CS titles. Where maps like Dust2, Inferno, Nuke and Mirage lived on, these maps were sadly forgotten for in development of the later games, but certainly not forgotten by the community that spent hundreds of hours playing them since CS 1.6.
We also take a look at the Counter Strike gamemode that was cut during development, assassination mode, also known as "VIP", and why it sadly never made it into the later CSS, CSGO or CS2.
