Treating Keratoconus with CAIRS - Surgical Video of CAIRS Insertion

Parker Cornea is the only clinic in the United States, and one of the few in the world, currently offering CAIRS implantation for corneal shape abnormalities including keratoconus. In addition, we are one of the most experienced and highest volume centers in the country for INTACS implantation.

CAIRS are similar to INTACS, except that the implanted segments, which
are inserted into the cornea to normalize the shape, are made from human collagen, rather than acrylic. By using collagen, much more of the patient’s corneal warp-age may be safely corrected, leading to potentially greater improvements in vision after surgery.
