Shell Stitch Granny Square with Squared off Edges or Border Crochet Tutorial

Welcome to Pattern and Craft!

This video is a tutorial for how to make my squared off edge version of the shell stitch crochet granny square. This is an advanced beginner to intermediate level tutorial which is appropriate for anyone who already has an understanding of the basics of crochet. I show how to make the exact square shown, but the last 2 rounds can also be used as a border on a larger shell stitch square or continuous shell stitch blanket.

This tutorial uses US crochet terms.
Pattern/stitch charts included to use as an easy reference.
