Thanks for making this the most popular ILS tutorial on YouTube. This amateur tutorial teaches you how to perform an ILS landing in FSX. Remember that this is a basic tutorial, and there's much more to ILS Landings than what I demonstrate in the video. Also, please note that autoland is NOT the same thing as the ILS. Many people seem to make ILS synonymous with autoland. (You'll even hear me say it in the video several times, back when I too, thought it was the same thing.) Autoland is a supplemental system that takes care of everything for you during the landing. (It flares, lands the plane, and even controls the throttle.) **FSX does NOT have an autoland feature** This means you must disengage the autopilot before touching down, and then land the plane manually.
