I didn’t go out yesterday intending to make magic.
Honestly, I just needed to get away from everything — the politics, the pressure, the endless cycle of content and inboxes and everyone wanting something.
I needed quiet.
I needed land that still remembers what it was.
This started a a couple weeks ago when I stumbled across a 7th-century Welsh war poem buried inside a digitised copy of the Historia Brittonum — one of the oldest surviving references to King Arthur. It mentioned “the Churches of Bassa.” That line stuck with me. So I started digging.
Found a theory. Found a possible location.
Sent it to Mark and said: let’s go find this.
And we did.
We drove hours through the countryside and ended up standing on this tiny old stone bridge, mist curling over the fields, ivy blooming all around us.
And I knew in my chest — this was it.
This might be where Arthur made a stand.
The land still felt like it. The energy was intense and a cold shiver went up my backbone. That's the sign. It's how I always know I'm in the right place.
What I didn’t expect was the perfume of the ivy — sweet, green, ancient.
Or the water avens by the river, nodding like little ghosts.
Or the feeling that this wasn’t just some curious trip — it was something meant.
I went out chasing a story.
Instead, I found a thread back to myself.
So yes, something new is coming.
Not a trend. Not a seasonal thing.
Something sacred. Something rooted.
Inspired by that land, that river, that moment.
I’ll share more when I’m ready — but just know:
I’m still that woman who reads ancient scanned texts at 2am, follows a lead into the wild, and lets the plants tell me what happens next.
