This is a different Tandoori Chicken recipe with easy steps and no oven. So watch and learn how to make Tandoori Chicken at home with me.

Recipe Details
Serves 2

Main course Non Vegetarian Dish

Ingredients:
Chicken legs 2 nos

1st marination:
Lemon 1 nos
Ginger garlic paste 1 Tbsp
Black salt 1 Tsp
Red chilli powder 1 Tsp

2nd marination:
Mustard oil 3 tbsp
Red chilli powder ( kashmiri) 1 Tsp
Turmeric powder ½ Tsp
Thick curd 2 tbsp
Kasoori methi 1 Tsp
Roasted cumin powder 1 Tsp
Black salt 1 Tsp
Coriander powder 1 Tsp
Garam masala powder 1 Tsp

To finish
Lemon 1 nos
Chaat masala 1 Tsp.

Method:
Make gashes on the chicken legs to penentrate the marination.

1st marination.
Mix all the ingredients of 1st marination to the chicken and leave it aside in a refridgerator for 2 hours.

2nd marination.
Luke warm the mustard oil and add red chilly powder and turmeric powder and mix well
Add thick curd to the mixture and cream it well.
Roast kasoori methi on a pan and crumble it with palms to release aroma.
Add crumbled kasoori methi to the mixture.
Mix in black salt, roasted cumin powder, coriander powder and garam masala to the mixture and mix well
Apply this marination to the prepared chicken nicely.
Marinate the chicken for 4 hours

For cooking
Oil and wipe the skewers, from the drumsticks side of the leg thread the chicken to ensure doesn't fall from the skewer while grilling.
Cook the chicken for 4-5min, baste the chicken and cook further for 4-5 min, till it is cooked from all sides.

Take out the chicken with the help of tong, finish it with lemon juice and a sprinkle of chaat masala
Serve along with sliced onion salad, a wedge of lemon and green mint coriander chutney.
