Tamiya Hornet Beginner Build Series! - Step 26 - Cutting out the Body

Описание к видео Tamiya Hornet Beginner Build Series! - Step 26 - Cutting out the Body

Welcome to another beginner build series!! Yes, this series is specifically designed for the newbie to the world of R/C and more specifically to the newbie to the world of Tamiya and the Tamiya Hornet. The Tamiya Hornet is one of the most iconic cars that Tamiya ever produced. For many growing up in the 80's, this is the car that started off their obsession for radio control. So no matter what your age, you are going to find this an absolute blast to build and to drive!

So if you are brand new to the world of R/C or have never built a Tamiya kit before, I will walk you through everything from start to finish.

In this video we will do Step 26 which is cutting out the body. Actually step 26 is cutting out and painting the body but I've decided to focus on the cutting out part of this step. There are a number of ways to do this but I'm going to show you the best way that I've found that gives you nice clean lines. I know you can use scissors for this step but I choose to use a very special tool which I will show you how to use in the video. I find this method gives you the most control and makes cutting out the body much more fun. In fact, if you think this tool would work great for you, here is a direct amazon link to the tool: https://amzn.to/3tkPv1L

Please note that the above link is an affiliate link so if you choose to buy the item I will earn a small commission from the sale. As an affiliate for amazon it does help bring more cash to the channel so I can continue to bring you more and more content.

Lastly, below is a list of the tools that I would recommend you have on hand. Please note that they are affiliate links which means that if you choose to use any of the links below to buy any of these items, I will earn a little something on the sale so I thank you in advance as it all helps to build and maintain the channel. But please note, you can often find these items at your local hobby store and sometimes, not always, but sometimes the prices might even be cheaper. So before using these links I would recommend seeing if your local hobby store has them in stock. Supporting your local hobby store is preferred in my eyes.

Anyway, I can't wait to help you with your build of the Tamiya Hornet!

Above all enjoy the process! Doesn't matter if you're fast or slow at building an R/C, what matters is you have fun while doing it!
