Game plan to reach my goal of sailing to Channel Islands

The Channel Islands have caught my attention and I have set my goal to sail there in my own boat. I'm not sure what to expect but I like giving myself these types of challenges. I am mildly nervous and really excited to see how this plays out. But I don't think I'm stopping after this.
