The Craviotto 5.5" x 14" Solitaire Vented Aluminum Snare Drum is a beautiful piece of workmanship, priced for the gigging drummer who wants a drum that stands out among the crowd.

The thin-wall, aero-grade aluminum shell is hand-rolled here in the USA, giving the drum strength, clarity, and a surprising amount of warmth with boosted mid-range projection.

The Dual Diamond Venting System allows more air and volume to escape from the shell, making it sound crisper and more powerful from the audience. This venting also makes the drum extremely microphone-friendly.

Low-mass single-point diamond tube lugs adorn the outside. They're made of brass and allow the shell to vibrate more freely than it would with bulkier hardware.

This drum also comes equipped with triple-flanged hoops, Craviotto custom snare wires, and a butter-smooth Trick GS007 throw-off.

The 5.5" depth helps the drum sound good across a wide range of head tensions, remaining crisp and articulate wherever the tuning goes.
