What’s the Paul Blart - Mall Cop 2 movie about?
Six years after the events at the West Orange Pavilion Mall, Paul Blart (Kevin James from Grown ups) is recovering from his divorce and the death of his mother. He receives an invitation to a security guard convention in Las Vegas and begins to believe that his luck is about to change. His daughter, Maya (Raini Rodriguez), discovers that she has been accepted to UCLA, but she decides not to tell her father for now. In the middle of the convention, Vincent Sofel (Neal McDonough) and his gang disguised as hotel employees, secretly conspire to steal artwork from the hotel and replace it with replicas. Later, Paul is fortunate enough to be the speaker at the event. While he prepares his speech, Vincent and his acolytes put their plan into action. Maya, distracted, finds herself in the middle of the heist and is taken hostage with her friend Lane (David Henrie). Paul delivers an inspiring speech that moves everyone at the convention. After the speech, Paul learns about Maya and Lane's situation and goes to their rescue. With help, Paul manages to clumsily dismantle Vincent's operation. He agrees to let Maya go to UCLA.
