Kenilworth Castle | The Best Castle Ruins in England?

Join my tour and learn the incredible history of Kenilworth Castle. Kenilworth Castle is an amazing castle with almost 1000 years of history within its walls. Here is my video about some of the events that have made this castle what it is today!

Kenilworth Castle is located in the town of Kenilworth which is a great town in itself. as you can see the castle is not in the lavish state fit for royalty that it once was as it was purposefully destroyed during the English Civil War in 1650. Not only was it a gorgeous royal palace but also is the location of one of the longest sieges in English history! Simon de Montfort held off the siege for 6 months against Prince Edward. Its also the home to a love story between Robert Dudley and Queen Elizabeth 1st.
