Hey everyone and welcome to The Illuminerdi! I’m Asher Freidberg, and today we’re going to be breaking down the first teaser for The Flash film! Before we begin, be sure to leave a like, subscribe and share to help us continue to grow!

Today at DC Fandome, we got our first look at The Flash movie, starring Ezra Miller as The Flash. There’s a lot to break down, so I’ll do my best to point out every major detail I notice!

The trailer kicks off with not one, but two different Barry Allen's entering what looks to be Wayne Manor, specifically the one from the Burton Batman films. . This version of Wayne Manor appears to have seen better days, which implies that the Bruce Wayne of this universe likely also has. But I’ll get back to that.

Next, we get our first on-screen look at Ezra Miller’s New Flash costume, and I just love it. The organic feel of how the energy moves throughout his suit is gorgeous. Following this, we see Barry going to visit his deceased mother, likely in either a separate timeline, or maybe an altered current timeline.

After this, we see Barry holding a man’s hand, which could possibly be his father. As we see this, we hear a voiceover explaining that Barry changed the timeline, when we see a destroyed Batman cowl on the ground with blood surrounding it. From this angle, it’s really hard to tell if it's the Michael Keaton version of Batman, or Ben Affleck’s as we can’t get a good view of the ears.

Next, we see Barry Allen in what I believe is a red-sun prison that is holding Supergirl captive. This would be a parallel to the Flashpoint comics, where instead of Supergirl, Superman was kept in prison.

Right after this scene, we see a version of Barry Allen laying down Sasha Calle’s Supergirl on a table, presumably after rescuing her from captivity.

Up next, we see one of the Keaton Batman suits being modified to be turned into a suit for The Flash, which we saw teases of earlier this year, and we see again at the end of this teaser. We get our first on-screen look at both The Flash ring, which typically contains his suit, as well as our first full look at The Flash’s new DCEU suit.

Finally, we get a small glimpse at what appears to be Heaton’s Batman being approached to join The Flash’s team which includes another version of himself, and Supergirl.

In a bumper for this teaser, we see one of the Barry Allen's uncover the Burton films Batmobile, which will likely be used in the film with a tease like that.

This Flash movie looks to be insane and this trailer didn’t even reveal that much! There’s a bunch more secrets about this film to uncover, and you can count on us to break it all down as it’s revealed!
