I acquired this poor underpowered ski roughly 9-10 yrs ago and did nothing with it. My buddy had the title to it and is a jet ski guy so I passed it off to him. So one day him and I got bored and with some troubleshooting found it to have a dead cdi and priced one out. And at over 275 for a used unit him and I said not for a free ski. so I grabbed a $10 chinesium cdi I had laying in my tool box and 5 wires to make a plug. wired it in and it fired off. Since condition of ski was unknown still we were gonna leave it on the trailer at the ramp to test thrust but ramp was flooded, and in a previous video short he rode it around the ramps parking lot and surrounding field for shallow water run. After that shake down, it brought us to this day, a deep(ish) water trial. For all the bad talks about the jammer, it ran great for 35 yr old technology and design. But with that being said, this hull has outlived its usefulness and the power plant and pump are going to live on in a new home. My buddy and I are going to keep yall posted and everyone is invited to tag along to our banter and shenanigans as this project and a few others that have no footage yet come to public view.
