For most of Essendon's 2000 Premiership squad, it was the peak of their careers. For Matthew Lloyd, it was merely a building block. He would have, in my opinion at least, the best individual season of all time in 2001 - and yet everyone seems to have forgotten it.

In this video, the Gaz-man casts a light on a season that really had to be seen to be believed, and hasn't been repeated since.
