අද අලුයම කටුනායක අධිවේගී මාර්ගයේ සිදුවූ රිය අනතුරකින් රාජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය සනත් නිශාන්ත ජීවිතක්ෂයට පත්ව තිබේනවා. මියයන විට සනත් නිශාන්ත 48 හැවිරිදි වියේ පසුවුණා. ඊයේ රාත්‍රියේ හලාවත බණ්ඩාරවත්ත ප්‍රදේශයේ හෝටලයක පැවති විවාහ මංගල සාදයකට සහභාගිවී ආපසු කොළඹ බලා යමින් සිටින අතරතුර කටුනායක කොළඹ අධිවේගී මාර්ගයේදී මෙම අනතුර සිදුව තිබේන බවයි වාර්තාවන්නේ.

State Minister Sanath Nishantha has lost his life in a car accident on the Katunayake highway this morning. Sanath Nishantha was 48 years old when he died. It is reported that the accident took place on the Katunayake Colombo Expressway while returning to Colombo after attending a wedding party held at a hotel in Halawatha Bandarawatta last night.
