This is probably not the fastest possible time to complete this fight, LOL. It is extremely un-optimized, but It's certainly far above the typical 2-4 hours it normally takes to beat the boss.

There is a specific strategy at play here, I am not just getting lucky in having my party members avoid getting grabbed. Marty is immune to most status effects, or at least has very high resistances to select statuses. From my testing, Marty cannot be poisoned, deep poisoned, stunned, fallen down, or paralyzed. Marty can however be pissed off, and oiled up. This constructs the main game play loop of this fight, killing Marty in only two turns.

Marty has an obvious tell for when he is about to grab one of your party members, and it has to do with the calcification of his egg sacks. If all of his eggs have calcified, at least once, Marty is now free to grab and consume any one of your party members. Do note that after every Egg has been calcified, Marty can now indiscriminately snatch any or all of your party members. There is an exception, however, as Marty will have to re-calcify his eggs if you escape and re-enter the battle. So use this to your advantage, as Marty's HP will never rise back up, even if you leave the battle.

I use the brief time I have before Marty calcifies his eggs to fill Birdie's TP Bar as high as I can, as well as ensure Brad and Terry are both Drunk and Enraged. This will maximize our crit chance and allow them to both melt Marty's health. But as soon as all of his eggs have calcified once, I will immediately hit him with a dirty insult. Because of how many of his own egg sacks are on the battlefield, and because of their monstrous health and defense, Marty has a high likely hood to just attack his own sacks over your own party. If he does hit your party, however, it is extremely likely he will one-hit ko any member of your party. If Nern is knocked out, and Marty is no longer pissed, that is your opportunity to run, as demonstrated in the video.

In ways I feel like this run could be optimized, I think if you brought joy, as well as both of Brad's arms, there is a theoretical one-round ko that could be accomplished with Marty. However, if you have to escape, it should be done earlier than Marty's second phase. I believe this is a tell for The Blood Shadows to start suicide bombing their counterparts, which would save huge amounts of time if you didn't have to worry about it.

If there are party members who can reliably stun/paralyze Marty, they would be the most ideal for this fight instead of Nern, because that would mean Marty would never do any damage, essentially allowing for the theoretical one-turn as well as if you were just doing high damage. If you are attempting this, I do advise you do a joyless run, but keep both of your arms. Never use your Joy, but don't sell it either. Use it for this fight, give both Brad and Terry the joy in order to maximize their damage. Don't forget to kill Satan for his belt buckle, and don't be afraid to bring back up party members into the fight with you. Firebombs are also incredibly invaluable in this fight, even if Terry's DPT outweighs the potential for firebombs,
