In this video I discuss some strategies for bow-hunting deer on public land (Crown Land) when you have not had an opportunity to scout the land beforehand. I discuss ground hunting and do some tree blind or tree stand) hunting. This video does not purport to be the be-all end-all of bow-hunting deer; this is just how I approached a particular hunt when I had not had a chance to scout in the pre-season and I needed to go in blind to hunt on public land..

Much of bow hunting is often done in a tree stand or ground blind. However, when you are going into the field to site in a stand or blind during hunting season you must be alert and aware that you may find deer while you are looking for a good spot to set up. Never stop hunting!
