Penang is also called 'the pearl of the Orient'. This city has an illustrious past and a lot of hidden treasures. It is a paradise for travel enthusiasts, with a lot of history, culture, good food and architecture. Because it was a British colony, there are still many colonial buildings. After that, the city of Georgetown became a trading post for the Chinese, who also left behind their historic structures. On the jetties on the water, they still live the traditional way. We also visit Little India, the oldest Thai temple, the skyscrapers and much more. After an earlier city trip in Kuala Lumpur, a visit to the jungle in Taman Negara, the high mountains in the Cameron Highlands and this journey of discovery in Penang, we will then conclude the journey on the wonderful island of Langkawi!

We make our trip through Malaysia during a year-long world tour. We may even continue to travel indefinitely. On New Year's Day we started in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the Canary Islands. Then you saw us in Oman, Cape Verde, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Tobago, Grenada, the Bahamas, the United States, Mexico, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands, Brazil, Qatar, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam.
