The Grand Seiko SBGV221 (silver) and SBGV225 (blue) in detail. These 40mm diameter (and 10mm thick) watches are perfect in many ways: Zaratsu polishing, razor sharp hands and applied hour markers and a dead-on accurate movement. Where some people would say that quartz watches have no soul, we beg to differ with the caliber 9F movements from Grand Seiko. The caliber 9F82 is a beautifully finished movement that definitely could (would) need a sapphire case back, as we prefer it over some of the rather rough-looking mechanical movements used by other brands. On top, you will receive the best possible precision from a quartz watch, as the 9F is thermo-compensated and fine-tuned by Grand Seiko's master watchmakers.
