USMLE Step 1 Change to Pass/Fail

On February 12th, 2020, the United States Medical Licensing Examination announced that it would be changing USMLE Step 1 from a numerical score to Pass/Fail. However, this change will not be implemented until at least January of 2022. In this video, Dr. Desai explains the reasons USMLE Step 1 has been changed to Pass/Fail and the ways this change will affect Residency applicants.
