It’s that time of year! The annual Perseid meteor shower is coming to a peak next Tuesday into Wednesday. No telescopes or binoculars are required for this one, and a chance to see dozens of meteors per hour if you know when to look. (We’ll give you the down low!) Join Nick in this week’s episode of Skywatch Weekly to learn everything you ever wanted to know—and probably more—about meteor showers.

Skywatch Weekly is a production of the Adler Planetarium—the first planetarium in the Western Hemisphere! Located on Chicago’s lakeshore, the museum typically hosts more than half a million visitors each year and reaches millions more through youth STEAM programs, neighborhood skywatching events, people-powered research, and other outreach efforts.
