FLY TYING-CDC FLYING ANT - THE DEADLIEST FLIES with Chris Walklet

Описание к видео FLY TYING-CDC FLYING ANT - THE DEADLIEST FLIES with Chris Walklet

Late summer into early Fall the dry fly action begins to wind down with the exception of several fantastic hatches. The flying ant hatch is one of them and these ants are like candy on Halloween for eager trout. Each ant is filled with juicy acids that make them a great food source for even the most reluctant fish. This is a great pattern sizes 10 up depending on the size of the ant that is hatching. Having an effective flying ant pattern in your box at the right time can be magic on the river. (Just a note in describing the life cycle of the ant I mentioned worker bees by mistake. I meant worker ants. They share a similar exodus when creating new hives colonies)
