Lectures on Faith are the Doctrine of Jesus Christ and were in the 1835 Doctrine and Covenants approved by Joseph Smith. When Orson Pratt asked Brigham Young if he should remove the Lectures on Faith from the 1876 edition of the Doctrine and Covenants, Brigham said no!
They were removed in the 1921 edition when Heber J Grant was President of the Church.
