In this video we look at integrating your email with Zoho CRM through IMAP configuration. This integration helps to store communication emails centrally to the Zoho CRM, providing a comprehensive view of customer interactions, instead of manually inputting communications from external mailboxes maybe forgetting to include information that might not be useful at the time, causing issues down in the line.

IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) allows email clients (e.g. outlook, gmail, etc) to synchronise with the Zoho mail server, having access to communication email to any contact you have interacted with, which in turn allows you to reliably use email automation features from Zoho CRM, for example a automation where a Lead record in CRM gets turned to ‘Action Required’ if they have replied back to an email.
