E. Palestine Residents & Trade Unionists Demand That Biden Institute Stafford Act At EPA HQ In DC

East Palestine residents and trade unionists rallied at the EPA headquarters on November 15, 2024 to demand that President Biden institute the Stafford Act which would provide healthcare and funding for the residents to move out of the contaminated.
Speakers reported that the EPA had covered up the dangerous toxins including vynal chloride and had allowed the Norfolk Southern railroad to take control of the site and also hire companies like Tetra Tech which had previously been charged with falsifying clean-up at the Hunters Point shipyard in San Francisco. Residents of other toxic dump sites including Pikeston in Ohio also spoke about their communities fight for healthcare, testing and safety.
